Through new adjacencies and increased square footage, the new Cleveland Clinic Cardiac Surgery Suite brings an improved level of efficiency to the Cleveland Clinic Miller Pavilion. The Cardiac Surgery Suite includes 14 new operating rooms, 12 regular & 2 robotic, shell space for 2 future operating rooms, with all operating rooms wired for extensive digital and video communication. Based upon the existing cardiovascular operating suite diagram, the new operating rooms are grouped in a 5 OR cluster around a central clean core, which allows for a high level of efficiency among the attending surgeons.
