The south entrance to the College of Law was inconspicuous and univiting. The University desired an addition that would welcome pedestrians to the College and transform its presence on Euclid Avenue into an expression equal to its stature within the University. With the existing structure as a backdrop, a new, three-story glass entry pavilion was added facing Euclid Avenue, creating a more visible safe and identifiable entry for Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. The light-filled addition has an open, monumental staircase connecting all three levels that greets arrivals and creates a circulation point with visual, immediate access to the public entrance, filtering people to and from Euclid Avenue.
