Located on a tight urban site, the addition to the College of Law Library is organized by an internal system of passages and bridges that connect the library to other campus facilities to either side. The connectors pass through a three story atrium which also serves as the main entrance from the College of Law. Extensive use of glass in the atrium space allows expansive views through the building to a small courtyard. The fourth floor incorporates a clerestory reading room to provide natural light-filled space for students and faculty. This project was completed through a partnership between Bostwick Design and Ellerbe Becket.
