Dolan Center for Science
and Technology

University Heights, OH

The 2 wings of the Dolan Center house the classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, faculty offices, and support spaces comprising the University’s math and science departments. Reflecting the increasingly interactive nature of science, each wing is organized around a multi-story science gallery where students and faculty are encouraged to meet and talk between classes. The wings are joined in the center by a sky-lit atrium that creates another gathering place for students and faculty. In collaboration with the University and its construction manager, the team led by Bostwick Design Partnership successfully delivered a finished building in 28 months through an ambitious and demanding fast-track process.
