The Cleveland Clinic sought a fresh approach to the increasingly complex logistics required to handle the tons of materials that it receives, processes, and distributes on a daily basis. In close collaboration with the Clinic, a team led by Bostwick Design Partnership of healthcare, architectural, planning, technology and construction experts conceived, designed, and constructed a 227,000 square foot consolidated materials-handling facility beneath a new 4,000 space parking garage in 41 months. The Service Center is one of the most advanced materials handling facilities in the United States and is expected to fulfill the Clinic’s needs for years to come.
