The organization of the new patient care pavilion is anchored by a new main patient arrival point to the medical center. The addition links to the existing facility through a connecting gallery of both new and renovated architecture. The positioning of the new inpatient center provides direct, private access to diagnostic and treatment areas including existing operating rooms, imaging and emergency departments and will link the inpatient functions of the addition with a proposed outpatient center in the future.
