I don’t mind getting dirty and I appreciate the value of a dollar, but, I really like positive results.
I spent many years as a general contractor. That’s where I learned the most about architecture—what’s needed to put buildings together. It’s also why I am adept at assisting in the field making sure the client’s interests and design intentions are achieved.
When it comes down to it, design is all about communication and relationships—face to face deliveries, stopping out a job site to solve problems in person make a difference. Getting answers to make decisions keeps the project moving forward and saves the client money—and I watch the money closely. I treat my clients’ money as if were mine. I want them to get the best value they can to achieve their vision.
I believe in doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Because of this my clients feel like I am one of their family.
