Convergent Media Center

Capital University

The Convergent Media Center at Capital University will provide students with a state-of-the-art facility while also allowing the University to maintain it’s collegiate gothic campus. As a single new facility, the University desires to create a modern home and focus for technical arts at Capital University. Underlying this general statement was the University’s desire that the new facility create an environment that conveys the importance of interdisciplinary academic goals and the collaborative nature of academic work. The programs and functions of the building will include music technology, electronic media & film journalism, digital art, technology rich classrooms, faculty offices, and support spaces. The building site is adjacent to the student and admission’s center which positions the building as a destination for future students to visit and current utilize.
