Aeronautics and Technology Building
Kent State University
In 2010, the Kent State University College of Technology set a new academic direction in order to establish the New College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology (CAEST). The new academic program aligns with the workforce needs of today and produce engineers and graduates that are able to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world and evolving technology. The College is comprised of four major programs: the School of Aeronautics, the School of Applied Engineering, the School of Sustainability and Environmental Engineering, and the School of Construction Management.
The site is located on the Science Corridor on the southeast side of the Kent Campus. This location allows the College to utilize research labs and other facilities in nearby buildings, and also foster a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with the adjacent Colleges. The site offers a more visible location for the College to be recognized by the community.
